Cooksville Volunteer Fire Department proudly serves approximately 25 square miles in western Catawba County, including the communities of Cooksville, Banoak, and Vale, and protecting around 5000 residents. 

In addition to our core service area, we provide mutual aid to our neighboring counties of Burke and Lincoln, working closely with nearby departments to ensure the safety of our extended community. 

Since 1967, our all-volunteer department has had a steadfast commitment to the well-being of those we serve.
